Audio Visual Equipment

Service Description

Media Services is dedicated to fulfilling the audio-visual needs of University faculty and staff.  Audio-visual equipment can be reserved for use by either calling 482-6418 or going to Dupre' Library, Rm 302.

Media Services can deliver and pick up the equipment or the department can pick up and return the equipment can be picked up from Dupre' LIbrary, Rm 302.

Equipment may be removed from the campus for University sponsored activities only.

Service Description

University Computing Support Services (UCSS) has the capability of sending broadcast email messages to all faculty, staff and student e-mailboxes or some identifiable subset.  Requests for broadcast email messages can me made from employees at the Department Head level or above.  A request for a broadcast email should contain the following information:

Broadcast Telephone Announcements (BTA)

Service Description

Broadcast Telephone Announcements (BTA) are always sent to Staff and Students who have campus voicemail service. The announcement is released once on the “Release Date”. The announcement stays in the system until heard by the end user or automatically removed by the system on the “Kill Date” at 12:01 AM.

Service Description

The use cell phones and mobile devices as determined by job description and supervisor direction.

Availability

The availability of instruments is determined by vendor supply.

 Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for the proper care of the instrument assigned; proper use as dictated by the service description agreement.
