Information Technology News and Announcements

For the Spring 2012 cycle, twenty-eight (28) awards totaling $647,467.51 were funded by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Student Technology Enhancement Program (STEP).  Of the those proposals funded, four (4) will have an annual sustainability fund impact of $39,674.90 (average $9,918.73/project).

Attention Guillory Hall STEP Lab Users!

Effective February 15, 2012, Guillory Hall will be closed due to the renovation and expansion of the Student Union.

We encourage you to study in the 24 Hour STEP Lab located on the first floor of the Conference Center.  You will need your ID to access the lab.

For the Fall 2011 cycle, sixteen (16) awards totaling $412,989.05 were funded by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Student Technology Enhancement Program (STEP).  Of the those proposals funded, five (5) will have an annual sustainability fund impact of $45,242.80 (average $9,048.56/project).

For the Spring 2011 cycle, twenty-one (21) awards totaling $352,201.61 were funded by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Student Technology Enhancement Program (STEP).  Of the those proposals funded, six (6) will have an annual sustainability fund impact of $36,609.00 (average $6,101.50/project).

For the Fall 2010 cycle, twenty-two (22) awards totaling $360,940.68 were funded by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Student Technology Enhancement Program (STEP).  Of the those proposals funded, four (4) will have an annual sustainability fund impact of $38,628.71.
