Service Outages
May 15, 2012 - There have been a couple of power issues in Stephens Memorial Hall this morning. This has resulted in service outages to network based services and the wireless network. The problems have been resolved and all affected services should be functioning normally.

WebAID Connection Errors
UPDATE (10:50AM, 04/17/2012) The database problem has been corrected and WebAID is working normally. If you continue to have problems accessing WebAID, please e-mail or call the IT Help Desk
Presently WebAID is experiencing database errors. We are working on correcting the issue and will have it back up and running as soon as possible.

ULINK Outage 4/12/2012
A server problem is causing a temporary outage in ULINK. Affected systems are Registration, WebAID, and ISIS. The problem has been identified and is being corrected.
Systems should be restored shortly.

Adobe Flash Update : UPDATE 4/12/2012
The recent update to Adobe Flash Player and associated plugins which caused problems in Windows 7 computers on campus yesterday, April 11, has been modified and re-deployed to fix the issues with the original update.
If you are using a Windows 7 computer, please take a moment to reboot your system to receive the repaired update. Your computer may run through a series of reboots while it is receiving and installing the update.
Once your computer finishes your computer should have the latest update which includes security fixes. If you continue to have problems with flash based applications, please call the IT Help Desk for further assistance.

Adobe Flash Player Update Issue
A recent update of the Adobe Flash Player product has caused the removal of the application on a number of computers accross campus. We are working diligently to resolve this issue.

University Wireless Network Outage
The University wireless network will be unavailable Friday, March 23, 2012 beginning at 1:30pm. The outage is not expected to last more than one hour and will include routine maintenance.
Registration System Maintenance
In order to complete the repairs to the system that controls Registration and ISIS, we will need to reboot the system tomorrow morning, March 22, 2012. The system will be down between the hours of 6:00AM and 7:30PM.

Adobe Flash Component Issues
Yesterday, March 1, an update was sent to the campus which contained a component of Adobe Flash which allows you to view certain video streams and other related content on the web. There were some inconsistencies in the component and as a result Adobe Flash started exhibiting erratic behavior on affected computers.
There have been no issues with loss of data or any malicious or other virus like activity. It is merely a functional issue.
Steps are being taken at this time to correct the problem and when the new update is available, it will be released to the campus in the form of a Windows update. You will need to reboot your computer to install the newest release when it becomes available.
Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
Zimbra Server Maintenance Update
The e-mail server will be down for maintenance on Wednesday morning, February 8, 2012. The purpose of the maintenance is to install patches to correct the performance issues encountered last week.
02/08/2012 UPDATE: The server maintenance is complete. All Zimbra (e-mail) services seem to be operating properly.

Zimbra Mail Server Outage
Thursday, February 2, 2012, the Zimbra mail server started experiencing problems which caused slow and sporadic issues with sending/receiving e-mail.
We have a ticket open with the zimbra team on this, and we are awaiting
further direction from them on this issue. In the meantime you can expect
slow response times, no response, bad gateway errors and errors from
the web client.
As we receive information we will update this post.
